It can also be a double acting diaphragm valve. It is designed to control high purity, aggressive, and corrosive liquid chemicals.<\/p>\n<p>This valve has a compact design with a small footprint. It also has a low dead volume. The composite body and elastomers (FKM, NBR, EPDM) support compatibility with many media.<\/p>\n<p>The 12.5 mm orifice provides a flow factor of 2.45 Cv. This is much higher than similar valves. The valve supports media pressure from vacuum to 10 bar. It requires a minimum pilot pressure of 4.1 bar.<\/p>\n<p>If the pilot gas fails, the valve will fail closed. If power fails but pilot gas remains, the valve will stay open.
