They close when energized and open when power is removed. Because they operate without a pressure differential they open reliably even at low or zero pressure.<\/p>\n<p>Built with bronze and stainless steel components these valves deliver long service life and resist damage in demanding environments. Orifice sizes range from 2.4 mm to 12.7 mm supporting a wide range of applications.<\/p>\n<p>Use these valves with water, oil, air, gas, and other clean, non-reactive liquids and gases free of sediment. They operate from vacuum up to the maximum pressure listed in the specifications. Install the valve with the solenoid upright.<\/p>\n<p>Each coil includes 18 in leads. For applications that require exceptionally tight shutoff such as fuel oils and oxygen gas. A Viton soft-seat option is available to improve sealing performance.
