These valves use a special Teflon Chevron\u00ae seal that ensures separation between the media and pilot sections. In the single-acting normally closed version, the APV-23 uses a spring-loaded pneumatic actuator connected to a sealing disc, which, when retracted, unseats from a precision orifice and allows fluid flow. When pilot pressure is removed, the seat returns to the orifice, and flow stops. The valves feature an ON-OFF indicator on the pneumatic actuator and are suitable for high-temperature liquids compatible with the materials of construction.
