Heavy-duty resistive electromagnetic level sensor

The IMR and IMRH resistive electromagnetic level sensors are designed for heavy-duty use and applications in water, mineral oils, diesel, and gasoline.

They operate on the principle of reed contacts with resistors and provide a continuous resistive output signal. This enables reliable measurement of the liquid level and transmission to instruments or displays.

The sensors are available in versions with G 1“ or G 1”1/4 aluminum connection (stainless steel on request). The measuring length varies from 100 mm to 2000 mm in 50 mm increments, so that the sensor can be easily adapted to the application.

Thanks to the choice of two output types – Type I (5–7 Ω full, 315–330 Ω empty) or Type II (175–180 Ω full, 7–10 Ω empty) – they can be flexibly integrated into various measuring systems.

The IMR and IMRH series combine accurate resolution (10 or 20 mm standard, other increments on request) with a robust steel and aluminum construction. The NBR float and O-rings ensure reliable performance in a wide range of liquids. This makes these sensors particularly suitable for fuel tanks, hydraulic installations, and industrial storage tanks.
