7000 Serie – High Current Proximity Sensor

The Canfield 7000 Series proximity sensors are designed for position recognition on pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders. These sensors are suitable for mounting on cylinders with tie rods from 2″ to 8″ bore or on round cylinders from ¾″ to 4″ diameter. Thanks to their robust and cost-effective design, they are used worldwide in automation, mechanical engineering and industrial applications.

The sensors are available in various switching types, including 2-wire reed contacts (NO/NC), SPDT reed, electronic PNP/NPN and TRIAC outputs, with or without LED indication. Unique in the offering is the version with a 120 V AC Hall sensor. They support switching functions from 6 V DC to 240 V AC, with current up to 4 A and inrush up to 50 A. Protection options include MOV, LED indication and overvoltage protection.

Mounting is via universal self-adjusting terminals or optional band clamps. Each sensor comes with mounting bracket, cable or M12 connector (optional), and is IP67/NEMA 6 rated for industrial environments.
