BCS linear screw actuator

The BCS is Tolomatic’s first electric rodless actuator. Based on the design of the successful BC2 pneumatic series, the BCS features a simple carrier design guided by solid Delrin supports. These bearings provide support under moderate loads and are less sensitive to environmental particles than exposed ball bearing systems.

The series is available in multiple versions depending on the load and desired precision: standard carrier, double carrier, and floating mount carrier. Each version is tailored to different load capacities, stroke lengths, and accuracy requirements.

The actuators can move loads up to 11.7 kN, with speeds depending on the selected screw and lead. The drive is provided by ACME or ball screws, with the aluminum and steel construction ensuring a lightweight but rigid actuator. Maintenance is easy and the components are protected from contamination by wipers and seals.
