CS – All threaded magnetic sensors

The Canfield CS Series is a rugged cylindrical proximity sensor with M8 threaded mounting. Specially designed for accurate detection of magnetic objects in industrial and mobile applications. With fully molded-in stainless steel and TPU construction, this sensor is resistant to moisture and vibration. The sensor can be easily attached directly into machine frames, actuators or custom mounts.

The CS sensor is available as a reed contact (up to 120 V AC/DC) or as an electronic version with PNP or NPN output (5-24 V DC). Both versions offer a switching power of up to 5 W. The reed version responds at 85 Gauss, the electronic already from 25 Gauss. The compact size makes the sensor ideal for applications where space is limited but reliability is essential.

The CS Series is IP67/NEMA 6 certified, shock and vibration resistant, and comes standard with bulk or individual packaging.
