The Canfield ETS Series is a rugged all-electronic tilt switch that activates a switch output at a preset tilt angle. The sensor uses MEMS technology to accurately measure an object’s position relative to gravity and can be used as a single-axis or dual-axis version. Applications include platform leveling, arm position detection, camera stabilization or motion detection.
The switching output (PNP sourcing) switches at a set angle of ±15°, ±30°, ±45°, ±60° or ±85°, with an accuracy of ±0.5° and a maximum deviation due to temperature of only ±1°. The compact cast metal housing is black powder coated, fully epoxy encapsulated and resistant to dust, water and vibration to IP69K.
