SLE-35 series linear encoder

The SMAC SLE-35 high-resolution linear encoder is comparable in terms of mounting to other industry-standard linear encoders in housings. This model is a miniature contactless incremental linear encoder with high resolution, which provides two counting channels in quadrature (called A and B) as output signals. The two output waveforms are 90 degrees out of phase and indicate both the position and the direction of movement: for example, when channel A leads channel B, the movement is from left to right of the scale when viewed from the pattern side of the scale. If B leads A, the movement is in the opposite direction. This encoder is available in resolutions of 0.1 and 0.05 microns.
