The Electromechanical Reserve Level Sensors have been developed for applications where reliable level detection in oil, gasoline, or diesel is essential.
They operate with an N.C. contact and are suitable for very low voltage circuits, such as safety systems and electric accumulators.
These sensors are available in multiple versions, including variants with oil- or gasoline-resistant NBR plugs, and models with a nylon flange with two, three, or six mounting holes. The SRE version has an integrated chamber, which ensures stable measurements, even in liquids with strong movement.
Depending on the model, the length of the sensor varies from 53 mm to 1000 mm. The float is made of foamed nylon, which supports a liquid density of 0.7 g/cm³ (SRG and SRM) or 0.85 g/cm³ (SOG and SOM). The fixed contact is made of silver-plated brass and the moving contact of silver-plated phosphor bronze, which ensures good conductivity and a long service life.
The sensors have a maximum switching capacity of 5 W, a maximum switching current of 500 mA, and a maximum switching voltage of 24 V DC. The operating temperature ranges from -10 °C to +80 °C, making them suitable for a wide range of environments.
Thanks to their durable materials, light weight, and simple construction, these sensors offer a reliable solution for level detection in fuel tanks, hydraulic systems, and other liquid reservoirs.
