APVS04 Series 2-way fluid-separated valve

The Spartan Scientific Series APVS04 air‑piloted 2‑way media‑separated valve is offered as a single‑acting, normally closed unit or a double‑acting diaphragm valve, engineered to manage high‑purity, aggressive, and corrosive liquid chemicals. Its space‑saving, compact, low‑dead‑volume layout helps reduce footprint while boosting overall process efficiency.

A composite valve body combined with FKM, NBR, or EPDM elastomers delivers broad chemical compatibility across many media types. With a 6 mm orifice and a 0.72 Cv flow coefficient, it provides stronger throughput than numerous similar valves in its class.

This valve supports media pressures from 0 to 14 bar and needs at least 4.1 bar of pilot pressure to operate. In the event of pilot gas loss, it fails closed. If electrical power drops while pilot gas is still available, it remains open.

Every valve is verified to ANSI FCI 70-2 Class VI standards. Control can be handled via a Spartan Scientific 3‑way solenoid pilot, with manual override and a lighted connector available. An optional magnetic piston supports end‑position sensing.

Advantages

  • Optional magnetic piston for position sensing.
  • Tested to ANSI FCI 70-2 Class VI standard for reliability.
  • Wide range of compatible elastomers.
  • Simple pipe mounting.
  • Suitable for various liquids and gases.
