vibration isolators reduces costs!
At production companies, chances are high that production machines generate a lot of vibrations for the environment. This can be bothersome for the staff that is working near these machines, for other machines that have problems due to the nearby vibrations, or for the surrounding infrastructure that suffers from long term continuous vibrations. Vibration isolation makes sure that all these possible problems are taken care off. There are several possible ways to isolate machines, and LDA offers best options in terms of vibration isolators.
FIRESTONE:
FIRESTONE Industrial Products Company (FSIP) specializes in air spring manufacturing and technology with a history of more than 80 years of research and development of technologically advanced air springs. The purpose of Firestone Industrial Products is to address the global growth of air suspensions, and further our commitment to our customers with the world’s broadest air spring product line.
Firestone Rubber “Marsh Mellows®” has a reinforced inner fabric layer that puts our vibration isolator beyond competition.
ENIDINE:
With their corrosion resistant, all-metal construction, ITT Enidine Wire Rope Isolators are environmentally stable, high-performance shock and vibration isolators that are unaffected by temperature extremes, chemicals, oils, ozone and abrasives.
Air springs advantages | Marsh mellows advantages | Wire ropes advantages |
– Silent – Adjustable to various frequencies by adjusting the air pressure – No lubrification – No maintenance | – No need for compressed air – No lubrification – No maintenance – Side or top mounting possible – Armed with a Fabric layer | – No need for compressed air – Side or top mounting possible – No maintenance – Compact – Possible in stailness steel |
Many factors have to be taken into account, as example:
· Load distribution of the machine
· Mounting points of the isolators: top, side, bottom or combination of these options
· Frequency of the vibrations
· Span of the frequency
· Preferred noise level (e.g. metal isolators vs rubber isolators)
· Availability of compressed air
Together with our customers, LDA determines the best options from the above product ranges, makes the design on how to mount the isolators and gives all the necessary operating details (e.g. required air pressure for the air springs).
