8000 Series – Low Current Reed and Electronic sensors

The Canfield 8000 series is a versatile range of cylinder sensors designed specifically for detecting piston positions on round, NFPA tie rod or extruded cylinders with bores from 9/16″ to 8″. The sensors combine small size with high performance and are available in reed or electronic versions. They fit both standard and special cylinders via a variety of mounting styles.

With operating voltages from 0 to 120 V AC/DC and switching up to 0.5 A, the sensors are suitable for both light and heavier industrial applications. Each model features a bright LED indicator with wide viewing angle for easy visual monitoring. Installation is quick and easy thanks to universal or dedicated clamping options. The compact housing ensures that the sensor does not protrude even on small cylinders.
