9U Series – T-Slot Slot Switch

The Canfield 9U Series is a compact proximity switch designed specifically for T-slot linear actuators, including models from Fabco, Festo, Numatics, Parker and SMC. Thanks to its clever top-down design, the switch can be placed in the slot at any position, secured and neatly concealed against the cylinder wall – with no protruding parts.

The switch is available in reed or electronic versions (PNP or NPN), each equipped with a bright LED indicator for quick control. The reed version supports voltages up to 240 V AC/DC, while the electronic version operates at 5-30 V DC. The plastic housing is fully molded-in and offers IP67 and NEMA 6 protection, making the switch usable in humid or dirty industrial environments.

Connection options include 9 ft PUR cable, an 8 mm quick connect pigtail or dual sensor with 12 mm male pigtail. Compact, versatile and quick to install. The 9U Series is the solution for smart and neat position detection.
