LDA recently took a significant step forward in automation by integrating a Yaskawa robot that completely handles the movement of boxes. Whereas this used to be done manually, the robot now ensures a smoother and more efficient process.
The solution was fully customized and seamlessly integrated into the existing production line. The robot picks up boxes, moves them, and places them precisely where they need to be. This is done quickly, consistently, and without interruptions. For the workers on the shop floor, this means less physically demanding work and more time to focus on other tasks.
During a recent retrofit of a dust collection filter, LDA opted to integrate an Airsweep system to optimize the system’s performance. In existing filters, dust can accumulate over time, which negatively impacts efficiency and restricts airflow.
Using Airsweep actively dislodges accumulated dust and keeps it in motion. This is achieved through powerful, targeted airflows that prevent material from becoming trapped in critical areas of the filter. The result is more consistent operation, fewer clogs, and significantly improved filter performance.
