EiS series – Electronic inclinometer sensor

The Canfield Connector Inclinometer is an electronic inclination sensor designed for industrial applications where accurate angle measurement is essential. This sensor uses an advanced MEMS chip technology and is available in voltage or current output versions. With its rugged, miniaturized design, the sensor is easy to integrate into machines and installations.

The sensor offers a choice of single- or dual-axis measurement, with different output types: 0.5-9.5 V, 0.5-4.5 V or 4-20 mA. Each model has a centered offset (e.g., 5 V or 12 mA at 0°) and a scale factor that depends on the selected measurement range (up to ±85°). This makes accurate angles easy to calculate via a standard formula. The sensor has connector options for flexible integration.

Please note that this inclinometer is not a safety component according to the European Machinery Directive and should not be used in applications where personal safety depends on the sensor function.
