9Q series – T-slot switch

The Canfield 9Q Series is a rugged proximity switch designed for easy mounting in T-slots of aluminum profile cylinders without removing the end cap. Thanks to the clever insert and lock mechanism, the sensor is securely and tightly positioned against the cylinder profile. Ideal for cylinders from Parker, Fabco, Festo, Numatics and Rotomation, among others.

The 9Q is available as a reed contact or with electronic sensing (PNP or NPN) each equipped with a high-visibility LED for quick status check. Reed versions switch up to 120 V AC/DC while electronic types respond from 25 Gauss with minimal hysteresis. The sensor is fully molded in polyurethane with a hard nylon housing for optimum resistance to shock, vibration and moisture.
