KPI

  • Improved product flow – more consistent and reliable flow of powders and granules.
  • Fewer blockages – reduces material accumulation, bridging and ratholing in silos, bunkers and hoppers.
  • Less production downtime – limits downtime caused by blocked or poorly flowing installations.
  • Less manual intervention – reduces the need to manually clear installations on a regular basis.
  • Less cleaning and maintenance – helps limit material accumulation and reduces the need for frequent intervention.
  • Targeted operation – powerful air pulses are applied where material accumulation occurs.
  • Efficient use of compressed air – air pulses are activated only when required.
  • Optimisation of existing installations – AirSweep® can be integrated into existing industrial installations without major mechanical modifications.

Installation by LDA

LDA provides the installation of AirSweep® systems in existing industrial installations. Based on the application and the existing process, we determine where AirSweep® units are required and how they should be controlled.

The AirSweep® units are combined with pneumatic components, including MAC Valves pulse valves (PV’s). These components control and activate the air pulses.

By installing AirSweep® at the appropriate locations, an existing installation can be optimised in a targeted way. Material accumulation is addressed directly where it occurs, without requiring major mechanical modifications to the entire installation.

Applications

AirSweep® can be used in various installations where dry bulk materials do not flow properly or accumulate.

  • Silos
  • Bunkers
  • Hoppers
  • Chutes
  • Process lines
  • Storage and conveying systems
  • Installations handling powders and granules

Airsweep®

LDA installs AirSweep® systems to improve product flow in industrial installations. AirSweep® uses powerful air pulses to dislodge material accumulation, bridging and blockages in silos, bunkers, hoppers and other process equipment.

The air pulses bring compacted material back into motion, improving material flow and reducing production downtime. LDA provides the installation of AirSweep® units and the associated pneumatic components, including MAC Valves pulse valves (PV’s).

AirSweep® is suitable for different types of powders and granules and is used in industries including food processing, chemical, pharmaceutical and cement industries, as well as other industrial process environments.
