MI/O 67 Fieldbus

The MAC Valves MI/O 67 Fieldbus is a cleverly designed fieldbus module that takes MAC’s well-known pneumatic valve technology toward Industry 4.0. By integrating existing MAConnect® solenoid bases with a protocol module (EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, Profinet, PowerLink or Modbus/TCP), both control logic and power are controlled via one standardized connection. This creates a compact and clear system with minimal cabling and maximum modularity.
The platform is IP67 splash-proof (including custom valve arrays), suitable for industrial environments. One communication unit can control up to 32 MAC valves, with up to 7.6 A/32 channels available (depending on coil power). Max 12 additional modules per stack.
Power supply to communication module and valve connection is separate, so electronic communication remains independent of valve controlA 7/8″ M12 connector provides power supply as well as network. Diagnostic LEDs display current statuses and messages.
The MI/O 67 platform has official certifications for EtherNet/IP (ODVA), ProfiNet (PTO), EtherCAT (Beckhoff) and is CE certified. Configuration can be done via MAC’s IPConfig or WebConfig tools, and MAC provides EDS/GSD/XDD files for seamless integration with PLCs.
