M5 – Male Quick Disconnect Interfaces

Canfield M5 Series male connectors are designed as electrical quick connectors for solenoid valves, pressure switches and sensors in pneumatic and hydraulic applications. These connectors are used during casting, potting or resin coils or as a robust interface in final assembly of valve systems. Thanks to their wide compatibility, they are suitable for standard ISO, MINI and Sub-Micro formats.

The M5 series is available in several versions: for flush mounting, panel mounting, plate mounting or ½″ conduit. The ISO versions have 18 mm pin spacing according to DIN EN175301-803 Form A. The MINI connectors follow the industry-standard 11 mm format and the Sub-Micro connectors are available in 8 mm (DIN Style C) or 9.4 mm pin spacing. Depending on the model, there are versions with 2+ ground or 3+ ground contacts.

The housing is made of fiberglass-reinforced nylon with a temperature resistance of up to 125 °C (105 °C for conduit versions). All models feature mounting holes with M2.5 or M3 screw size and are supplied with mounting hardware. Their robust finish and versatile mounting options make them useful in mobile applications, OEM devices or industrial automation.
