Series L Bronze Cryogenic Solenoid Valves (NC)

Magnatrol Type L bronze solenoid valves are normally closed 2-way valves with a straight-through flow path, available in pipe sizes from 1/2“ to 3”. They open when energized and close when de-energized, without requiring a pressure differential to open.

The construction consists of a cast bronze housing, a bronze piston, and stainless steel components.

These valves are suitable for use with liquids and gases, as well as cryogenic media such as liquid oxygen (-183 °C), liquid argon (-186 °C), and liquid nitrogen (-196 °C). They operate from vacuum up to the pressure differential specified in the specification table.

The valves must be mounted horizontally, with the solenoid housing vertical and facing upward. The coils are encapsulated to insulation class H and equipped with 457 mm long connection wires.
