Series LR cryogenic solenoid valve NO

Magnatrol Type LR bronze solenoid valves are normally open 2-way valves with full bore, suitable for pipe sizes ranging from 1/2“ to 3”. They close when energized and open when de-energized. They do not require a pressure differential to open.

The construction consists of a cast bronze housing, a bronze piston, and stainless steel components. This ensures a long service life and good corrosion resistance.

The valves are suitable for hot liquids and gases as well as for cryogenic media such as liquid oxygen (-183°C), liquid argon (-186°C), and liquid nitrogen (-196°C). They operate from vacuum up to the maximum pressure differential as listed in the specification table. Install the valve horizontally, with the solenoid housing vertical and at the top. The coils are encapsulated (Class H) and equipped with 457 mm long connection wires.
